Automatic Palletizing

Automatic Palletizing

Automatic Palletizing Automated palletizers are the machines which are used to place things on pallets in a particular pattern. Automatic palletizing machines come in different types to handle different types of automation requirements and types of packaging, ranging from bags to drums, from crates to cases, etc. There are two types of automatic palletizing machines: fully automated palletizers and semi-automated palletizers. Fully automated palletizers do not need any type of instruction from the operator and can perform their function without any intervention.
Another classification of the automatic palletizing machines can be made between low level, high level and robotic. Typically, robotic palletizers can arrange products, goods, boxes, crates, drums, etc. on a pallet in a tier made by the operator of the automatic palletizing machine with the help of so-called Pallet Loading Software.
Automated palletizers are mostly used where packaging speed is important and where the product being shipped is fragile and/or heavy: an automated palletizer applies less stress on the products or goods while putting them on a pallet.

Advantages of Automated Palletizer

There are so many benefits of automatic palletizing machines:

  • Automatic palletizing machines can significantly increase the speed and the efficiency of the line.
  • Automatic palletizing machines increase flexibility and throughput of the line.
  • Automatic palletizing machines can increase load accuracy and can place goods or products more tightly compared to when they are placed manually.
  • Automatic palletizing machines can reduce the amount of products damaged during handling.
  • An automated palletizer can reduce labor injuries associated with manual handling.
  • An automated palletizer is cost effective.
